In later incarnations, Minerva was also seen as a military figure. The wisest of all gods and goddesses, Minerva had a calculating mind that she used to achieve her aims. Perseus is the legendary founder of Mycenae. He, alongside Cadmus and Bellerophon, is considered the greatest Greek hero and slayer of monsters before the days of Hercules. He most famously beheaded Medusa. He wears a helmet with topped with a winged Pegasus. Pegasus sprang from the neck of the beheaded Medusa. On his armored chest is the Gorgon Medusa.
