Large 1930s-40 Single Dial Metal Post Office Door Working Bank

Description: Up for bid is an original antique pre-owned Large 1930s-40 Single Dial Metal Post Office Door Working Bank. Found at an estate sale of an Antique or Vintage bank collector. A unique antique Metal Post Office Box Door Bank with Circa 1930s-40s. It measures about 7 1/2" tall by 6 1/2 " wide by 6 1/4” deep. The post office door was repurposed as a wood bank. The top is finished with a slotted brass plaque. The door has a single dial with an art deco design surrounding the edges and middle and a number 248 glass panel. The combo mechanism works well & door opens and closes easily. The combination is written on the bottom of the bank on a label.
