Description: Included in this collection is a set of beautiful stationery from the prestigious 5-star HOTEL THE MITSUI in Kyoto, Japan. The hotel is located in the former imperial capital, right outside of Nijo-jo Castle, former home of Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The hotel is on the ground of the previous family home of the Mitsui family, and dates back over 300 years. Known for its modern, understated elegance, Hotel the Mitsui provided this exquisite stationery set during my stay, and now it can be yours. I recently returned to Canada after living 11 years in Japan, and now I am selling off collectibles from my time there. Included: - 2 envelopes embossed with "HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO" in gold lettering and the hotel's address in black- Two loose leaf sheets of writing paper, also embossed with "HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO" in gold lettering, as well as clouds and tree leaf patterns in two of the corners- 1 writing notepad with "HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO" in black lettering- One beautiful post card featuring waves and tree leaves design in the 'ukiyoe' woodblock print style of the Edo era, and the hotel's address and an explanation story of one of the historical rooms within the hotel, dating back to the samurai days.- 2 exquisite ballpoint pens with black ink Condition: All items are like-new, and have no marks, damages or flaws.
