Description: This is a custom-built LaserCraft/Kustom Signals ProLaser III 9.6v Battery Charger. This charger will charge the proprietary battery pack used in the Kustom ProLaser III LIDAR unit, it will also work for LaserCraft Contour distance finder that uses the same 9.6v battery pack.I custom built this using a handle from a PL3 unit along with a standard hobby-grade NiMh/NiCd smart battery charger. It works great and has a standard Tamiya style connector on it so if you have your own preferred peak charger you can use that as well. Please note that the handle is chipped near the top, a common occurence on these handles as prior owners likely over-tightened the plastic nut which causes the plastic to break. It's cosmetic and does not impact the use of the charger in any way.The charger block is a Tenergy NiMH Smart Charger, it has a charge rate of 0.5 - 2.5A and can charge the PL3 batteries with no issue since the PL3 batteries are typically 9.6v 8-Cell NiMH batteries.
