Description: Title Bujutsu DangiBy Kuroda Tetsuzan Komagawa Kai Shin-ryu Kuroda Taiji's Grandchild known for Kenjutsu KyoshoPublication year 1988It has approx 302 pages. IntroductionThe first time I met Kuroda Tetsuzan Sensei was in mid-May of last year. At that time, I learned about the profound principles of the truly effective and practical Japanese traditional swordsmanship, iaijutsu, and jujutsu, as well as some incredible stories about Sensei's grandfather, the late Kuroda Taiji Sensei, and great-grandfather, Kuroda Shogun Sensei. Additionally, in June, at the first Kobudo Tournament held by the Saitama Branch of the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai in Omiya, I had the opportunity to witness Kuroda Sensei's exceptional iai. After several phone conversations, my desire to speak with Kuroda Sensei in more detail grew, and I earnestly requested his time, leading to the realization of this project. Thus, while this book is presented as a joint work by Kuroda Tetsuzan and myself, Yoshinori Kono, it is essentially a book based on interviews I conducted with Kuroda Sensei. Despite being listed as a co-author, my role is merely to draw out Kuroda Sensei's insights.Yoshinori Kono Unlike other Japanese sellers,I have this item in stock. So I can post 24 photos. Please do bid with confidence. The contents of this book can be roughly divided into Chapters 1 through 5 in the general theory section and Chapters 6 through the end of each theory section, which are practical techniques. Chapter 3 of the general introduction describes the Mu-shoku-ho, a practical technique for handling the feet and body, but it is described as a supplementary means for Iaijutsu. However, it is very important to learn Iaijutsu techniques from various angles through bodywork, regardless of whether one is interested in it or not. Chapter 2 is the most important part of the book. The matters discussed in Chapter 2 are the things that we must always keep in mind when pursuing iaijutsu. Whenever you have a question about any of the techniques, you should refer back to this chapter. The most important points to be learned in each kata, even if they are similar to those in the previous chapters, are repeated without hesitation and slightly reworded. However, this is only because it is particularly important for that type, and it is by no means the only type. Each kata must fulfill all of the requirements for the art of iai as described in Chapter 2 to be considered an iai art. The author strongly recommends that you read Chapter 2 of the General Introduction to the Art of Iai, as you should read the individual sections of the book to learn the art of iaido. In the illustrations, although the same kata and forms overlap to some extent, I tried to make it easy to grasp the whole picture by shifting the position of the sword and arms during the movements so that they complement each other. In addition, the paths of the arms (fists) and sword points have been supplemented by line drawings, so even though this is a two-dimensional plan, it should provide some clue as to the "roundness" of the movements. However, it is undeniable that some of the kata are a bit too "round" in terms of their original movements and forms, since we tried to stop some of the kata and capture them in the middle of their movements. I hope you will understand this point. However, we believe that if you read and understand the text carefully, you will be able to fully grasp the true form. In this regard, it would also be helpful to rely on the help of visual materials.
