Ericsson Model AC400 Antique Hand Crank Magneto Desk Telephone This telephone is in very good condition with only minor surface wear and no damage. This is an Ericsson AC400 model phone with a 4 bar magneto and push button to cut the ringer. This combination of parts means this particular unit is either a Model AC410 or AC420. The case is in very nice shape, with only some minor surface scratches and blemishes. The gold trim around the case is still completely intact, and the K.T.A.S. nameplate on the top of the case is in near-perfect condition. The handset includes both element covers, which is a rare sight on early Ericsson handsets. The handset cord is a green cloth reproduction, however, the cord to the terminal block appears to be original. The switch hook and push button on top of the case both function smoothly and as intended. The magneto cranks as intended, and the phone appears to be intact internally. The wrong screw was used to fasten the bottom plate of the phone, so it is only held in place loosely, but could easily be remedied by finding the proper screws. This is an antique item and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected. The item is untested and being sold as is. Please see photos to help assess condition.
