The goal of this rail square adapter was to produce the lowest cost design possible that will still produce accurate 90/45 degree alignment with the Kreg Adaptative Cutting guide rails. This version differs from others on the market because it uses the low-cost Harbor Freight Rafter Square and includes support tabs, which reduces the total cost of the DIY kit by up to $30 (depending on what Harbor Freight coupon is used). Features Accurate Alignment: The guide rail square adapter uses the accuracy of a Harbor Freight square and the guide rail to achieve accurate 90 degree and 45 degree alignment. The kit installs onto a Harbor Freight square within a few minutes. It uses a cam lock system to press the Harbor Freight square to the guide rail t-track, achieving a true 90 or 45 degree angle. Four Configurations: The guide rail square adapter can be flipped around and used on both sides of the ACS track. This means that you can set up a 90 degree cut or 45 degree and use the track in either direction. Included Support Tab: The Harbor Freight square is 12" long, which means towards the end there will be some sagging due to the weight. This kit includes a support tab which will let the guide rail square and guide rail sit flush onto the workpiece. Materials: The parts in the picture were printed in copper filament to contrast with the dark Harbor Freight Square. All shipped parts will be printed in blue and black PLA plastic. These parts are 3D FDM printed which leaves visible layer lines and small surface imperfections in the final product. This manufacturing process weights function over aesthetics.
