Description: Made in the 1980s by Kjell Engman, a Swedish glass maker. It is a molded clear glass bowl with 4 different scenes of midsommer dancers celebrating under the trees. I believe it is one of four different bowls in the "Rhapsody Series." Kjell Engman is frequently commissioned for public works both in Sweden and abroad. This is a nice, solid, heavy bowl weighing about 3.5 pounds. The top measures 7.25 inches across, and the bottom is 6 inches in width. It stands 5.5 inches high. There are no cracks or chips. Manganese was used as a color clarifier in glass. It glows a cool green under a 365 black light.
