Description: KONIG FRIEDRICH AUGUST (1906) Built by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, Germany as a 9,462 GT ship with dimensions of 475" 55". Twin-screw, 155 knots, quadruple expansion engines two masts and one funnel. Mainly in Latin American service At outbreak of the First World War was in Hamburg, remaining there until surrendered to the Allies in April 1919. Sold to Canadian Pacific Line in 1920 and renamed MONTREAL (1920) then ALESIA (1928). Scrapped in Italy in 1933.
