Description: Kodak 8 1/2" f6.3 Commercial Ektar Lens with Ilex Shutter Item Description This Kodak 8 1/2" f6.3 Commercial Ektar Lens, #ES766, is in great condition with minor handling wear., I rate it cosmetically a (9). The glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. This lens has coverage up to 5x7, a 53-degree angle of view, and a 270mm image circle at f22. The included Ilex No. 3 Acme Synchro shutter is in similar condition, also rated a (9). The shutter speed ring is a bit stiff and the shutter is inaccurate at speeds below 10. The aperture lever is smooth and the aperture functions properly. This lens has been machined into a lens board and it includes front & rear caps. Please refer to the photos for details.
