KL4 BMW KOLB Steering Lock KEY BLANK fit 1500 1600 700 some models 1961-1966

Description: KL4 KEY BLANK FOR: BMW KOLB Steering Locks For approx. 1961 - 1966 CODE SERIES: H/HB 0100-1099 In 1962, Germany passed a law that ALL new vehicles sold needed to be equipped with some form of secondary anti-theft device. This listing is for a replacement KEY for certain KOLB German steering locks that were offered as optional equipment. During this time, there were also vehicles equipped with Sperrwolf and WASO shifter locks (see my ebay store). Originally made by Kolb, this key is madde by Taylor and is stamped V69N and works as a replacement for keys with the part number KL4, VW63, V69N, BW5, or BM9. If your keys have one of these part numbers on them, you have the right key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly. Another clue is if you have a KEY CODE manually stamped on your key, in this case "HB" followed by some numbers from 0100-1099. Get a spare now, you definitely don't want to take apart a steering lock! You can find many other vintage BMW key selections in my ebay store.
