KITCHEN APRON w/Pocket from VTG FLOUR SACK w/Southern Border Print- Red Gingham

Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a Half Kitchen APRON with a single pocket in the right side recently handmade using vintage and preowned pieces of a printed Flour Sack never used but never wash and because was in storage for long time had lots of damages I did took away, for that reason the skirt is made in 3 pieces, the wider piece is in the center with lateral french seams, the print have a cute Toss design kind of South of the Border using green, yellow and very dark purple -looks like brown- colors over white, all the colors are intact only the white background have some shadows of old yellowish stains/discoloration here and there, nothing big, have no holes or bad odors, with that vintage fabric I made the skirt and long sashes/tiebacks of the Apron using a brand new 100% cotton 1/4" checkered red and white medium weight fabric to made the pocket, waistband and the border hem that was finished with a sunflower yellow color rickrack sewn in between the fabrics in the top, is just a one of a kind Farmhouse Apron, check the pictures, is so pretty, can be use but I recommend to use it as a decor accent, perfect to dress a Mannequin, the fabric is very old, not in condition of been wash continuously. - apron is 19.5 inches long without counting the waistband and 40 inches wide around the skirt- waistband is 20.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide- tiebacks are 41.25 inches long in each side and 1.5 inches wide- pocket is 7 inches high by 6 inches wide I really love to rescue old vintage linens and re-purposed them in others kind of pretty items, the vintage fabric piece was soak and hand wash before the sewing and press with no starch, the apron is made in a Mid-century fashion style, because of the long tiebacks will fit almost all Misses sizes, is the perfect decor accent in a Farmhouse/Country kind of Kitchen, Ladies in love with vintage linens will love it!!!
