For your consideration is an exceedingly rare and historically important original antique c.1846 Sevres plate, commissioned by King Louis Philippe of France for the Service De Chasse (The Fontain Blue or The Royal Hunt). The serves features a gold gilt design with a gold star at center and hand-painted foliage with animals. Three panels and three royal monograms in diamond pattern. Verso bears three makers marks. A green oval mark with S.46. inside. An orange mark with Chateau De F. Bleau inside and a blue mark with 1846 Sevres and a crown inside. Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Diameter of dish is approximately 9.75". Museum quality. Guaranteed authentic.
