King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation (1902) -CORRECT CORONATION DATE!!

Description: *** I SHIP TO ADDRESSES IN THE USA ONLY *** This beautiful Fine Bone China Beaker was manufactured by R.H. & S.L. Plant to commemorate the CORONATION of T.M. KING EDWARD VII and QUEEN ALEXANDRA in 1902. The transfer decal features separate colorful portraits of the King and Queen in a cartouche. Two national flags are on either side, the royal shield in the middle, a spray of national flowers, and a crown at the top completes the image on one side. Around the back is a small spray of national flowers that is above the commemoration. What sets this commemorative apart from most that were made for the 1902 coronation is that it bears the correct coronation date---"CORONATION AUGUST 9TH 1902 EDWARD VII & ALEXANDRA". The coronation was delayed from June until August due to the King's sudden illness. Finally, on August 9th, the King and Queen were crowned. Inside the beaker is a transfer decal of national flowers. Unfortunately, some of it has worn away over time. (this should not deter you from owning this beaker!) Around the upper rim is a decoration of gilding, which is in outstanding condition. The pictures show the beautiful shape of the beaker. The underside shows the R.H. & S.L. Plant logo and other manufacturer's details. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
