Description: Five bands of equalization allow you to boost or cut specific frequencies (up to 12 dB) so you can fine tune system performance. Each band has a control which moves its center frequency up and down to target the portion of the music you wish to control (Band 1: 40-90 Hz; Band 2: 125-250 Hz; Band 3: 300-750 Hz; Band 4: 1,000-4,000 Hz; Band 5: 6,000-20,000 Hz). Other features include a front-to-rear fader and clipping indicator lights for inputs and outputs. The KQ5 also features a built-in bass level controller for the Kicker KX amplifiers — just plug into the amp's remote cable to the input on the EQ's rear panel. This attractive 1/2-DIN size equalizer can be installed in (or under) your dash.
