Description: This is an excellent Stereo card of the Island of Java in the Dutch East Indies. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 600 card set (the cards are numbered T1 to T600) from about the 1930's. The card is titled "A Tropical Paradise – the Eden-like Island of Java, Dutch East Indies." and is numbered 572 with a Keystone negative number of 16418 T. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest.
