Keystone Stereoview Hemp Rope Factory, The Philippines of Education Set #553 T1

Description: This is a Stereo card of workers making ropes in a hemp factory in the Philippine Islands. It is from the Keystone “Visual Education” 600 card “Tour of the World” set from the late 1910's and shows great details. This set was used in schools to teach children about the world. As with most Keystone sets, some of the images were taken years before the issue date of this set. Unlike most Keystone “Tour of the World” sets, this set has a very heavy emphasis on manufacturing around the world and includes factories, transportation, farming, mining, etc. Most cards in this set are in very good to excellent condition with typical wear to the edges. Any damage to this particular card will be listed below. This card is titled "Manila Hemp Industry – Interior of a Native Rope Factory, Philippines." and is numbered 553 with a Keystone negative number of 10047. This card is in very good to excellent condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject.
