Description: This is called a Key to the engraving of the trial of William Lord Russell which was painted in 1683 by Sir George Hayter. We have only found one other example of this which is in the British Museum, that one states the engraving is by John Charles Bromley circa 1835 and was published by Robert Bowyer. The print is in it's original frame which has been repainted in gold, there is some on the glass, the print itself looks to be in good condition though there is a fold threequarters along from the left (just to the left of Lady Russell). We have checked the label on the back which is correct for date etc, the print is sealed in the frame so we cannot explore any further. The frame measures 9 3/4 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches high.
