Includes: Teepee with hide-style covering and long posts (3 missing, but still stands perfectly solid), base, decorative shield-style ornament, bone-style pins for the front (3 missing, but still do the job)Campfire and tripod Sleeping items: fur-covered pillow with insert, bed mat, 4 different hides Kaya's sister Speaking Rain's doll with papoose / cradleboard Food items: woven cornhusk basket with woven shoulder strap for gathering food, medium gathering tote, small square gathering pouch, serving bowl, 2 camas roots, mound of mashed camas root, mound of huckleberries, 3 strips of dried salmon Horse items: Kaya's horse Steps High's foal Sparks Flying, Steps High's fringe blanket, Steps High's ceremonial saddle Kaya's dog Tatlo PLEASE NOTE: Steps High (adult horse) not included, only Sparks Flying (foal) Our Kaya doll was given to us by our grandmother when I was around second grade, so all of these pieces were likely made somewhere between 2002-2005; definitely long before Mattel bought The Pleasant Company and changed (reduced, in my opinion) the quality and design of the products. Condition is very good; a few missing pieces here and there but lots of life left! The detail, quality, and craftsmanship on pre-Mattel Pleasant Company items is just amazing. They don't make em like this any more. Also would be a great teaching tool for a classroom or a library!
