It includes Katherine Dunham biographical information, background on the performances, and photos of each of the touring cast. Also includes a drawing of Katherine Dunham "Lady with the Cigar" by Phil May. This tour was "banned in Boston" due to perceived risque nature of the show. This lot also includes an 8 page 6 x 9.25 inch program for the Tropical Revue performances at the American Theatre, downtown St Louis, the week of February 21, 1944. The St Louis program provides details concerning each number in the show including the performers and music iincluded in each dance. Will be shipped by USPS Ground Advantage with cardboard reinforcement.
