Description: Karl Maria Schuster Original Painting BLUE VASE on Ceramic Charge Villeroy & Boch Charger 1920. #2 Charger is 19 3/4 in tall and 12 1/4 in wide. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE PLATE ONLY, THE BLUE VASE PLATE. THE BROWN VASE PLATE IS BEING AUCTIONED ALSO BUT SEPARATE FROM THIS ONE. Plate does show some signs of wear and is being sold in as is used condition. That being said it is in very good condition. Karl Schuster is a very well known Austrian Painter who occasionally did these Charger Plate painting. There is a record and picture of them auctioned in the past along with many auction records of his work that is researchable on the web. The plate is clearly marked with an early Villeroy & Boch mark but I am unsure of the exact date. Through searching the web I could find the mark but only that it was an early mark. Please share if anyone has any info, thanks. From the internet: Biography Karl Maria Schuster Karl Maria Schuster was born in 1871 in the Austrian town Purkersdorf.
