DESIGN : Sanada Yukimura Sanada Yukimura, a Samurai Warrior who lived up to the principles to his last. Sanada Nobushige (Yukimura) is a warrior called the “number one warrior in Japan”. He was daring and resolute in the Siege of Osaka and drove Tokugawa Ieyasu into a corner. The whole design was unified in red using Sanada’s famous akazonae (red arms) as a motif. (Akazonae is a sort of military design in which all arms including armor and flag were colored red.) Rokumonsen, motif arranged in the upper left is the most well-known family crest. It expresses the “resolution as a samurai warrior.” “Musubitsurigane” at the bottom right is the crest which Sanada army wore.
