Like new condition and just sitting on the display shelf most of its life (photo-20, $1199) Also for grabs is a Fostex D-5 dat machine (last photo $795) A day in a life of a DJ, sound engineer and A/V tech for some 3 decades, It's my conviction that any linear "tape" based format, analog or digital is far more superior audio than any non-linear digital media to date. However, I'm not here to argue, but rather express my subjective endoresment and support based on personal experience. Like the analog magnetic tape, Dat is no exception. Minidisc and Dat are pretty much alive and kicking in my studio for personal and professional application. Perhaps it's time to rediscover tape and minidisc for yourself..it might change your opinion on how to capture your next master recordings. This is no longer in production and becoming a hard commodity and very sought after due to it's high quality result of any studio or live recording project and ease of use that is still relevant in digital culture of today…So grab it while it lasts! Like most vintages some superficial imperfections are almost expected but in no way impede normal functionally and will be hard pressed to find one in this state of condition. Shipping and handling may vary on location. Some are new, used and few are part of my on going passion in what I do. Nonetheless, all has given equal meticulous attention and care to arrive in the integrity they once were and will be hard pressed not to admire aesthetically.
