Castells Martí painted regions of Spain and this lithograph features the Navarra region of Spain. The region is signed in the lower left corner and his signature in the lower right corner. This piece was created in the 1970s. Castelles Martí lived from 1906-1995 and was a famous Spanish artist. he was known for his sculptures, wood carvings, and woodcuts. This piece is a lithograph of one of his famous woodcut pieces. He would print his pieces on woven paper and pencil sign his name and titled in the margins. Also, his name or initials appeared in the woodblock. The pieces are so unique to him and easy to spot as a Castells Martí piece of art. This is a beautiful piece of art and would be stunning on display. This piece is framed and is 12.75 inches tall and 10.25 inches wide.
