Description: Here's an American Hand Painted tankard done on a JPL Pouyat French limoges blank. The green JPL mark signifies that Pouyat made the whiteware. The artist has signed the piece J.A. Hyde 1907. It measures 5 1/8" tall, 3" in diameter at the top rim and 4 1/4" diameter at the bottom. The motif is done in impressionistic leaves with some type of berries, perhaps currents. It's very well painted in my humble opinion. The tankard is in great condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The rims are smooth. The porcelain inside the tankard is bright white. There is one very small spot on the gold rim that is worn but basically the gold is intact. Please take a look at my other listings. I'm a very careful packer and ship quickly with a good track record of getting your items to you safely. I ship daily with the exception of the weekend when the post office is unavailable.
