The Johnson Smith & Co. catalogs are full of novelties such as radio kits, spy cameras, magic tricks, etc. This particular catalog begins with 32 pages of home brew recipes, cocktail recipes, and even a few "toasts for all occasions". I'm not sure why a novelty company would publish this, unless it was during prohibition. As mentioned, condition is rough, with covers separated but present.
