Decorated in red transfer with hand colored orange, cobalt, gold gilt, ocher, green, and pink highlights. Marked on the bottom Imperial Stone China JR. Made by John Ridgway between 1830 and 1855. Has overall crazing, overall patchy staining of the type that may soak out, and wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 13 7/8 inches wide.
