Description: John Ridgway Floral & Gold Scrollwork Neuilly Shape Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1830-1855 Nice antique British bone china "Neuilly" shape tea cup and saucer. Decorated with beige and gold bands along the edge above hand colored flowers in pink, purple, white, blue, and orange with gold floral and scrollwork designs. Has a gold gilt floral medallion in the center. Unmarked except for a faded pattern on the bottom which reads 5/55 in red. Produced by John Ridgway & Co between 1830 and 1855. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. EV (LB)GX
