Decorated with an Imari style pattern in purple, orange, cobalt, blue, green, and ocher. With gold gilt scrollwork over the cobalt along the edge. Marked on the reverse JR Imperial Stone China in puce. Made by John Ridgway & Co. Circa 1830 to 1855. Has heavy wear consistent with age and use, and a large chip to the foot rim. No additional chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. AU
