Description: John Ridgway 2/8663 Hand Colored Floral Beige & Gold 6 3/4 Inch Plate C. 1840s A Nice bone china plate. Decorated with a hand colored ring of pink, white, orange, purple and yellow flowers around a gold floral sprig in the center. Has a beige border with gold and white floral scrollwork designs. Marked on the reverse with the pattern number 2/8663 on the reverse. Made by John Ridgway & Co. Circa 1840s. Has some wear consistent with age and use and some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 6 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
