Description: Rare Chinese design from John Maddocks, Staffordshire Pottery. The marks are incised, not transferred and hard to read but I make this out to be 1921. Vitreous glazed ceramic. Transfer decoration. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks of crazing. 3 x 2 vignettes to rim with gilt decoration and flower motifs.
