THIS WAS THE LAST (AND RAREST) OF THE JOHN GARDNER "JAMES BOND" BOOKS BEFORE RAYMOND BENSON TOOK OVER WRITING JAMES BOND. NORMALLY WHEN THIS BOOK IS FOUND FOR SALE IT IS EXLIBRARY. Book has no creased page corners (faint wrinkling to bottom right corner to few few pages), slight age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges (no foxing), no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps/stickers inside, clean endpapers with no scotch tape marks or discoloration (evidence of a removed tiny address label at top right corner to ffe), no internal hinge splitting, no wear to board edges, corners or spine tips, no bumped board corners, no soiling/markings to boards, no wear/oxidizing to gilt spine lettering. Dust Jacket has no chipping, tearing or creasing, no wear to spine tips, no wear to front flap crease, no wear to left/right on spine, no edge wear, no spine sun fading, no foxing to panels or spine, no dust rubbing to panels or spine, no soiling/staining to panels or spine. Overall a FINE-/N-FINE book in N-FINE condition dust jacket (not price clipped) of an Ian Fleming related James Bond related 1st UK printing hardcover book. Occasionally (about 25% of the time) a package will get scanned at the Federal Way, WA transfer station, but in the vast majority of the cases the delivery confirmation won't show anything until basically the day before you get the package.
