Description: This stamp was in my in-law's possession. The stamp was never "gummed" original glue still in tact. it was placed on a piece of heavy construction paper. This stamp was never put in the mail or stamped by the USPS. After placed on construction paper it was wrapped in old school wax paper. I've had it for over 25 years.. I have never removed the was paper until today to take the picture.Excellent shapeU.S. postage stamps issued May 29th 1964 to honor the 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy who was tragically struck down on November 22nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, on what would have been his 47th birthday. The stamps feature a portrait for JFK and a depiction of the eternal flame that burns at his gravesite. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office almost 60 years ago!
