Description: This is a beautiful, old platter that looks like it was never used. All the painted flowers and gold is perfect. The size is large enough to serve a turkey or large chicken on it. This is ironstone and quite heavy. I have seen a few on ebay but not like this one. There is one close to this but it does not have any gold on it. Also it is listed as an oval. I can see that but I also think it is a rounded rectangle shape.
