Description: This auction is for a ca. 1820 John and William Ridgway Chinese Export blue and white earthenware octagonal platter made at Stoke on Trent in England. The platter is 18.5" X 14" and in very good condition for its 200+ years. Please note two minor discoloration marks, one to the right of the ship in the upper right hand corner, and one by the tree toward the left hand side. Both are shown close up. There are a couple other minor imperfections, no cracks or chips. There is discoloration on the back of the platter, also shown in the item description photos. It is marked as shown.
