He was the director known for Geliebter Schatz (1943), Liebe auf Befehl (1931). He died on September 30, 1959 in Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Photograph measures 8 x10 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity. Back has paste-down label reading “Johannes Riemann, well known German actor, who will co-star in Universal’s German version of “The Boudoir Diplomat”. The Boudoir Diplomat translated to Liebe auf Befehl, co-directed by Johannes Riemann and Ernst L. Frank starring Riemann along with Tala Birell and Olga Tschechowa.
