Description: A wonderfully detailed interior tavern scene with Dutch Noblemen by Dutch artist Johannes Hubertus Van Hove (1827-1881). Van Hove was born in the Netherlands into a family of painters - his father, Bartholomeus, who painted the La Haye Theater, and his older brother, Hubertus, were also painters. He is known for his interior genre scenes, and his paintings can be found in many European museums including Amsterdam, La Haye, Rotterdam, Graz, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart.
