Description: Joan Studwell Obama “Hope” (Shepard Fairey) Cigar Box Purse #13/40. Original. Joan Studwell made three series (?) of these purses. I have this one from the series of 40 ; there were two other series — one with 30 in the collection and one with 50 in the collection. I have seen these sell for $200-500. The interior mirror has started to slip and needs to be reglued; otherwise , this is in good condition . Note: The postcard with author’s name / pic will NOT be included ( see last two pics) ; it is attached to another purse I have from another series.
