Description: Experience the musical journey of Jimmie Spheeris with the vinyl LP "Ports of the Heart". This 1976 release from Epic Records features a collection of soft rock, singer-songwriter, and ballad tracks that will transport you to a different era. Beautiful harmonies and background vocal parts. Jimmie Spheeris died way too young and before he should’ve received a much larger following. He probably could be considered in the same league as Nick Drake or Jeff Buckley in that maybe his music will be rediscovered some day. This album also features appearances by Jackson Browne, Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke. The 12" record with a speed of 33 RPM and a catalog number of PE-34276 is perfect for any music lover. The LP comes with its original inner sleeve and cover, making it a complete package. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+), and the sleeve grading is also Very Good Plus (VG+). There is some slight surface noise heard throughout audible only during the quieter softer songs. Still very enjoyable but also why the price is lower than what I had hoped to list. This vinyl is a must-have for any collector and is a great addition to any music library. This item will be shipped heavy duty cardboard mailer with the record inside a new poly line inner sleeve, along with the original inner sleeve and cover protected by a polyethylene outer sleeve. Please see all the pictures to help determine the overall condition and feel free to message with any questions.
