Description: Up for bid is a rare fluorescent specimen from the Ojuela Mine in Mapami, Mexico. This has Fluorite Crystals that fluoresces Red under Long Wave UV light and a Calcite matrix that fluoresces Orange under SW UV light. Very few of the LW Red Fluorite specimens had a fluorescent Calcite Matrix. First picture is under LW light and shows the Fluorite fluorescing Red. Second picture is under SW light and shows the Orange Fluorescing Calcite matrix. Third picture is under White Light. A few dealers had this material but sold out of it many years ago. I bought this from an old collection of specimens specifically chosen for their fluorescence.
