Description: Listed is a vintage 1980's framed Dufex Foil print of Christ in the garden of Gethsemane. A 6.25 by 8.25 inch print framed in an 9 by 11 inch frame. The foil gives a brilliance to the prints that cannot be adequately captured in a photograph. Photos taken at diffferent angle shows a little bit of the difference the angle makes. Dufex printing was a process developed by F.J. Warren in the early 20th century, and involves printing images onto aluminium foil-lined paper or cardboard, using UV formulated transparent inks, which allow the reflective shine to be retained. Engraving techniques are then used to add a range of light reflective textures to the foil. Can be hung on a wall or stand on a table.
