Description: Jerry Colonna Autographed Page 1939 Legendary Sidekick of Bob Hope Actor D.86 A 2.5x4.5' album page autographed by Jerry Colonna, personalized and dated 1939. Colonna (September 17, 1904 – November 22, 1986) was an American musician, actor, comedian, singer, songwriter and trombonist best remembered as the zaniest of Bob Hope's sidekicks in Hope's popular radio shows and films of the 1940s and 1950s. Page (has light toning from another photo on the opposite side of the album up against this signature and several photos affixed to the back) and signature grades high. Provenance: We are proud to offer part of the "Florence Collection", an amazing IN PERSON collection of signatures from the late 1930's to the early 1950's by a true original chaser. This woman had her autograph album books ready and most likely haunted the exit doors of famed establishments as she carefully dated almost all the pages and wrote where she obtained the signature on the side or bottom of every page. She attended many Broadway plays, Big Band shows and Radio shows, obtaining signatures of the actors with many very rare signatures included, most all of them personalized to Florence.
