Part of a series Roadside Diner Series, designed by Artist Jerry Berta...This is the Teapot Diner, made in the shape of a Teapot, with real Neon Tube Lighting, that runs on a mini 110v transformer, included. The steam coming out of the spout lights up in red, and the inside of the diner lights up in blue. Made of porcelain ceramic with gold luster accents, highly detailed, inside there is a menu on the wall, a soda fountain diner counter with bar stools, etc.. A beautiful numbered piece, of only 5000 made, retired, no longer in production, and hard to find. This will come in the original box, with the original packing...Box may show shelf wear. Please note: This is real neon lighting, and has a buzzing sound, that is a characteristic of neon, and normal when running...Please consider if you are sensitive to noise. Neon lighting is easy to maintain, and can last for many years, with proper care. This is how we were told to care for Neon: Do not touch the neon tubes with your fingers, hands. Keep the neon tubes free of dust...Lightly dust the Neon Tubes, with a soft brush, or cloth...Don't use any type of cleaners, only a slightly damp cloth, if needed. If possible, keep Your Neon Plugged in All The Time.We have had 2 of these sculptures, and this is how we care for them. They have been plugged in non-stop for over 15 years, we never unplug them...The only time they are off, is during power outages.
