Leonard (born September 22, 1955) is an American former professional baseball left fielder. He played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1977 to 1990 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants, Milwaukee Brewers, and Seattle Mariners.Leonard, along with Dave Bergman, was traded from the Houston Astros to the San Francisco Giants for Mike Ivie on April 20, 1981. He was selected to the National League All-Star team in 1987 and to the American League All-Star team in 1989.
