Louis Henri Jean Charlot (1898-1979) was a French-born American painter and illustrator, active mainly in Mexico and the United States. This book of his collected articles deals mainly with American Art. He speaks only of that with which he has come in actual contact—but in doing so he takes us all the way from the jungles of Yucatan, in which he did spade work as an archeologist, to Hollywood, where he lectured at the Disney Studios.
