Description: Vintage Red Kokeshi Doll by Yamanaka Sanpei. This lovely vintage kokeshi doll was made and signed by master Yamanaka Sanpei (1926-2012). Her red kimono is decorated with carved chrysanthemums. Height: 14cm Yamanaka Sanpei has received over 20 awards for his kokeshi dolls, including the prestigious "Prime Minister's Award" in 1979. Sanpei often draws inspiration for the design of kokeshi dolls from children. In very good condition considering its age. Shipping: We choose EMS or Japan Post to ship items.
