Description: This is a listing for a beautiful Japanese Katana, made by SUKEHISA during the Edo period more than 300 years ago, it is a true piece of history. Crafted from Tamahagane, a type of steel used for making samurai swords, this piece is a stunning addition to any collection. The intricate Hamon design, called Komidare, adds to the beauty of the blade. True authentic Edo period Katana. The saya is much older. Paper work is provided, care utensils are provided, authentic Edo sword bag is provided, as well as a sword stand. Sword is in great condition with minimal black spots. The tipity tip of the sword has a very slight bend, not sure why. The sword has been taken cared of very well, every couple of months I’ve oiled it for the last four years. This Katana is not only a stunning display piece but also a valuable historical artifact, purchased from Japan - The Samurai Store in Kyoto. It will be shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Feel free to send an offer or to ask for additional pictures or receipt :) I would be happy to provide any additional information Thank you for looking
