The Acme model is described as a "Mercedes on two wheels." It's intended for commuting, city use, and general recreational riding. It features an upright posture with a flat bar for comfort and visibility, and is fast and maneuverable. It features the Gates CarbonDrive belt drive system which uses no grease, won't come off the sprocket, and is quiet and smooth to ride. It has a Shimano Alfine 11-speed internally geared hub for low maintenance reliable riding, and hydraulic disc brakes for confident and trouble-free stopping power. This 2012 Acme has been upgraded with a Shimano Alfine front dynamo hub, to generate power for lighting with virtually zero added drag, and Supernova front and rear lights from Germany. It's great to be able to activate lights when it gets dark out so that you can see the path and so that traffic can see you, without having to remember to charge anything or replace batteries. Shimano dual-sided clipless/flat pedals are installed as well as a tubus rear rack and Ergon GP1 ergonomic grips. The Acme uses a lightweight and compliant aluminum frame with a carbon front fork. Spot recommends the 52cm model for riders from 5'7" to 5'9" height. I am 5'10" but have relatively short legs and it is comfortable for me. The brakes have just been bled, the oil has been changed in the rear hub, and new tubes have been installed in both tires.
