Description: On offer, we have an original etching by James McNeill Whistler (1834-1903). "Old Westminster Bridge" shows the ordinary working men on the Thames River. It is signed in the print "Whistler 1859". This was later published as part of 16 Scenes of the Thames River and Other Subjects. The frame measures 14 5/8" X 19 5/8" X 5/8". The print is approximately 3" X 8". This weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces. This is in excellent condition. The print is bold, clean and clear with a deep imprint. I see a black dot inside the glass at the top center. It does not appear to be on the matte. The frame has a few light nicks. This print has not been examined out of the frame. As I am not an expert, on art please view my photographs for more description. This is from my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of his treasures.
