Book is physically old and shows some clear signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition. Binding age worn, leather scuffed, boards edge worn and scuffed, spine crudely repaired in the past with cloth tape. Text block paper is soiled, with scattered small stains and toned, light to moderate scattered age spotting, couple signatures sprung and slightly protruding from text block, book opens to half title (no blank fly leaf), internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays an interesting and unique age patina, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail showing how this uncommon 18th century American imprint survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account.
